EXPERIENCED BREEDERS

I am a small breeder of toy poodles, located in Mamou, Louisiana.

All of my poodles receive the best care, nutrition, and love. I am an avid poodle lover and have owned poodles practically my whole life, for 40 years.

I am happy to allow visitors to see puppies, parents, and housing, by appointment.

All puppies come with CKC registration, tails docked, dew claws removed, microchipped, and a puppy pack (includes blanket that smells like mom, collar, toy, Purina Pro Plan puppy food, vaccination records, two-year health guarantee, and new puppy education folder.

I am available for questions and support for the entirety of your new furbaby's lifetime.

All of my furbabies come with CKC registration and are purebred poodles.

My lines produce intelligent, loyal, good temperament puppies, even if a little pre-spoiled.

I am happy to do video calls and allow visits to my home to see pups and parents (by appointment).

I want my buyers to feel comfortable with their purchase.

Poodles are regarded as one of the most intelligent breeds in the world.

They are easily trained.

They are very attached to their owners and can get stressed if they are not physically or mentally stimulated.

They are well adjusted to other dogs and children.

DNA AND HEALTH TESTING FOR BETTER BRED POODLES

I complete Embark DNA testing, OFA CAER eye clearances, and OFA patella luxation exams on all of my breeding adults.

Every mating is done with specific genetic makeup and physical traits taken into careful consideration to produce the healthiest babies possible, which a great deal of the time does not equate to a great deal of profit, but does produce healthy babies that will live long healthy lives.

Most breeders do not complete all of the breed standard health testing and therefore you will not get the healthiest possible toy poodle from MOST breeders.

EMBARK DNA RESULTS

I use Embark DNA testing to make informed decisions about mating pairs to ensure the healthiest puppies. By analyzing the genetic profiles of potential parent dogs, I can identify any inherited health risks or genetic disorders and avoid pairings that could pass on these issues to their offspring, ensuring the well-being of future litters.

OFA CAER EYE CLEARANCES

As a breeder, I use OFA CAER (Canine Eye Registry) clearances to ensure healthy matings and puppies. These clearances involve thorough eye examinations by veterinary ophthalmologists to check for inheritable eye conditions in my breeding dogs. By selecting dogs with clearances, I reduce the risk of passing on eye problems to the puppies, improving the overall eye health of the breed and ensuring the well-being of future litters.

OFA patella CLEARANCES

As a breeder, I use OFA CAER (Canine Eye Registry) clearances to ensure healthy matings and puppies. These clearances involve thorough patella examinations by veterinarian and then reviewed by the OFA to check for inheritable joint conditions in my breeding dogs. By selecting dogs with clearances, I reduce the risk of passing on joint problems to the puppies, improving the overall joint health of the breed and ensuring the well-being of future litters.
